How does it work?
每个学科都由模块组成, some lasting a whole academic year 和 other modules lasting half a year to enable you to achieve the right balance of core knowledge 和 skills. It will also offer you the opportunity to follow your interests. In 第一年, you study your two subjects in equal weighting. 在第二年，你可以选择:
- Continue studying your subjects in equal weighting - a Joint Honours degree
- Specialise more in one subject 和 take the other as a minor - a Major/Minor Honours Degree
- Focus entirely on one subject - Single Honours degree, provided the subject is offered as a Single Honours Degree.
Your academic tutor will help you plan your studies, review your progress 和 choose your modules.

In 第一年, you study 60 credits in each subject. Core modules provide you with the essential foundations of knowledge 和 skills for undergraduate level study in the subject. Some subjects permit you to choose from a list of options.

Most subjects have a mix of 30 credit modules taken over the year, to permit you to develop expertise 和 skills, 和 15 credit option modules taken over half a year (a semester) to allow you to select from a range of specialist option.
